Founder, Co Owner & Pet Sitter
As the founder and co-owner of Happy Hounds, Hannah turned her lifelong love for animals into a business built on trust, compassion, and quality care. She started Happy Hounds to give pets the comfort of staying in their own home while receiving the same love and attention they get from their family. With over seven years of experience in the pet care world — from working as a veterinary receptionist and at a boarding facility, to learning about pet health at a pet insurance company — Hannah now provides trusted in-home care for local families, making every pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free — a passion that began as a one-woman show has now grown into Happy Hounds!
Leah
Co Owner, Pet Sitter & Social Media
As co-owner of Happy Hounds, Leah brings both a deep love for dogs and a heart for building connections with their people. She’s especially passionate about supporting local rescues and has a soft spot for small and senior pups. With a senior dog of her own, Leah understands the extra care and attention that older pets need to feel comfortable and loved. During stays, she’s often behind the camera capturing sweet photos and fun moments to share with pet parents, making sure they feel connected every step of the way. In addition to hands-on care, Leah keeps Happy Hounds running smoothly by managing scheduling and social media, always striving to give every family the best possible experience.
Ashley
Pet Sitter
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Ashley has truly done it all when it comes to pet care. From raising her own pets, to fostering for local rescues, to running a thriving pet sitting business back in New Jersey (where she cared for nearly 70 pets on a regular basis!), her passion for animals shines through in everything she does. Whether it’s drop-in visits, overnight stays, or long walks, Ashley is dedicated to making sure every pet feels loved, safe, and right at home.
